What We Do
Our Services
From structure fire to wildland fire to technical rescue, we provide a diverse array of emergency and non-emergency services throughout our district, spanning over 186 square miles in Eagle County.
Medical and Fire
Eagle River Fire Protection District responds to numerous types of emergencies, including structure fire, wildfire, hazardous materials, medical emergencies and various technical rescues.
Hazardous Materials
The risk of exposure to hazardous materials is a danger in all communities. Eagle River Fire Protection District trains and equips their Firefighters to respond to and mitigate all manner of hazardous materials emergencies within the community.
Wildfire
Eagle River Fire Protection District works to develop and maintain a community that is prepared for wildland urban interface and wildfire events. Through operational response, professional excellence, prevention, experience, and mitigation.
Community Risk Reduction
The office of Fire Prevention and Community Risk Reduction provides for safety during and after construction as well as public education and outreach.
