Important Preparedness Reminders

Preparedness before an incident is one of the most effective ways to reduce risk and improve outcomes. 
Every household should take the following steps before wildfire season: 

  • Develop and practice a personal evacuation plan. 
  • Communicate plans with family members, guests, and renters. 
  • Ensure all occupants are signed up for emergency alerts. 
  • Keep driveways and access routes clear and passable. 
  • Clearly mark property addresses so responders can locate homes quickly.
