Steps to Apply for a permit

Review all 5 documents below. These documents explain permit requirements, fees, applicable
fire-code amendments, and submittal required materials. Applications with incomplete information or materials may be delayed or returned.

Complete each step in order to receive a permit.

  3. Fill out the application completely
  4. Submit your permit
    Save your application as a PDF and email it to: prevention@eagleriverfire.org.
  5. Submit payment
    Payments may be made by check, money order or credit cards. Credit cards will incur a 4.9% fee plus a $0.30 transaction fee. If paying by check or money order, send payment to: PO Box 2942, Edwards, CO 81632 or drop off at 34215 US Hwy 6,
    Unit 204, Edwards, CO.

Permits will not be reviewed until payment is received.

After we receive your application and confirm payment, we will email you a signed permit.


Do not begin work until your permit is approved and issued, and payment has been received. Starting work early can result in a Stop Work Order and a Work Without Permit Fee.

The time for permit approval varies depending on factors such as the type of permit, inspection availability, and the completeness of the application. No permits will be issued without payment.
